Women's Ride #1 Neebing 6:15pm

Our first ride starts at the Neebing Roadhouse on Hwy 61 at the 20th Sideroad.

Please be ready to ride by 6:15pm.

We will offer 3 distances - 23km, 33km or 38 km.

We will have a lead and sweep for each group, as well as a sag vehicle.

A bike mechanic from Fresh Air will be at the start of the ride for those that need a quick adjustment to their bike or air in their tires. Please arrive early should you require their service

Remember you must be a member of the Thunder Bay Cycling Club before you come out to any of our rides!

Australian Pursuit hwy130/Rosslyn rd start 10:30am COURSE CHANGE

Australian Pursuit, May 13th, Note Course change.

Hwy 595 to Hymers is under construction, therefore at South Gillies (588 & 595)  we will go left and climb to top of Mile Hill to finish at top. Course will be shorter 32k but somewhat tougher as a result.

Registration 10:00, Start 10:30am

Format: 1 way pursuit.   Cat4 start, then Cat3, then Cat2, then Cat1. time Gaps tbd. neutral ride back. take time to ride with new riders, lets not let someone ride alone all the way back.  :)

Start: Hwy130 and Roslyn Rd, across from whitewater entry. 

Finish: Top of Mile Hill on Hwy 595.

Hwy 130-Barrie Dr.-right on River Rd.-to 588 to 595- left at 595 to top mile hill finish = 32 km.

Parking: on south side Gardner rd off Hwy 130. please be respectful of driveways and private property. 

Basic Rules: keep right on all roads, only 2up pace lines, DO-NOT-CROSS CENTER LINE, respect local traffic, and signal all turns, and obey stop signs. we have no stop signs on this route therefore should be good. be traffic wise regardless.

This clinic is for those looking to compete in your first time trial or go faster than ever before. We will cover safety such as the turn-around and passing as well as the more competitve aspects of pacing and aerodynamics.

Clininc starts at 6 and time-trial proper starts at 6:30.

COURSE CHANGE due to hwy595 consruction

Registration 10:00, Start 10:30, Start at Valley Central School. Park at school. Finish on Barrie Dr before hwy 130 intersection. 

Cat 1-2,  neutral ride from start at velley central school to 608, right at 608 up moose hill, left at 597, right at 595, straight at south gillies, down mile hill, right at 588, right at barrie dr to finish.  note, there will be a 1 min gap between cat 1 and 2.  (Cat 1 starts then Cat 2.) Distance = 74k

Cat 3-4, neutral ride from start at velley central school to 608, right at 608 up moose hill, stay on 608 until south gillies, right at 595, down mile hill, right at 588, right at barrie dr to finish. Distance = 53k


RULES. stay on right side of road, single file on neutral ride on hwy 61.  signal all turns, and riders must stop at the stop signs, put one foot down and wait for clear to turn. we have a few stop signs on this route and  stops must be followed. no exceptions.
